Sarah Rosell is a Senior Managing Director at RPN. Sarah has built a successful recruiting career founded on a basic principle: being a good listener. Sarah places attorneys across disciplines and in both in-house and law firm roles. Before becoming a recruiter, she practiced for seven years in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster, and then worked in-house for two years at Chartis Insurance. Candidates appreciate her first-hand knowledge of the different opportunities and challenges of a law firm and in-house practice, and clients value that she understands the priorities of both working environments.

 

As a working mother who started her family while practicing law, Sarah is sensitive to the need for balance, and she understands that each candidate's ideal balance is a unique blend of professional ambition and personal satisfaction. Candidates and clients benefit from Sarah's ability to recognize what is driving her candidates' desire for change, so that she can guide them into a successful next career move.

 

Sarah earned her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. from Fordham University, where she was an Editor on the Law Review. She enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two daughters; if there's time left over at the end of a busy day, she can be found tinkering with a draft of her first novel—a light-hearted look at one attorney's drastic career change.
