Michael Kunz is a Managing Director at RPN, where he places attorneys of all disciplines into both law firm and in-house roles. Having practiced for over six years at Am Law 100 firms in both New York and Philadelphia, Michael fully appreciates the challenges posed by the legal market and the importance of matching each attorney with the best opportunity to suit his or her unique needs.

Michael began his legal career as a Litigation Associate with Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York before joining the Litigation Department at Ballard Spahr LLP in Philadelphia. As an attorney, Michael worked on a diverse array of matters, including commercial contract disputes, antitrust litigations, white collar investigations, product liability suits, consumer financial service matters, and class actions. Prior to his time as an attorney, Michael worked as a Federal Police Officer at the Supreme Court of the United States.

Michael obtained his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor on the American University Law Review and graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. Michael earned his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Maryland. Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with his wife and three children at the Jersey Shore.
