Melissa Musman is a Senior Managing Director at RPN. Melissa has been a successful and highly respected recruiter for over 20 years. She has gained a strong reputation for placing partners and associates in both law firms and in-house nationwide. Melissa works closely with her candidates and gives them guidance and advice in order to obtain their career goals.

Prior to joining the legal search profession, Melissa practiced corporate and real estate law with Kaye Scholer, LLP (now Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP) and with a boutique real estate firm. Melissa graduated from New York University School of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of International Law and Politics. While attending law school, she was an intern with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York and a Law Clerk for The Honorable Robert J. Ward in the United States District Court. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with Distinction, from Cornell University. While at Cornell, she was a History major and studied abroad for a semester in London, England.  She was also a member of a sorority and was a Big Sister.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys going to the beach, hiking, skiing, tennis and spinning.  She lives in the River Towns in Westchester with her husband, two daughters and their dog.
