James is a Managing Director at RPN. He comes from the world of high-stakes commercial litigation, and has decided to take his client-focused attitude to the world of legal recruiting.

Having made a lateral move in his own career, James has a unique understanding of the various factors that go into a job search and has numerous contacts in the legal industry. James' key strategy is a "listen-first" approach, in order to gather the pertinent and unique information to develop searches that target the perfect roles for his candidates and to counsel these candidates through the difficult career decisions they are facing every day. James is a consummate team player at work and in his personal life, and was voted the captain of his LGBT+ softball and basketball teams.

James received his JD from Fordham Law School, where he was an active member for Fordham’s moot court team and Intellectual Property, Media, and Entertainment Law Journal. Prior to law school, James received his M.B.A. from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. James has worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
