Hayden Bui is a Managing Director at RPN. Prior to joining RPN, Hayden was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in NYC and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. As a corporate lawyer, Hayden advised public companies, PE/VC sponsors, startups and nonprofits in tax structuring, M&A, leveraged buyouts, equity fundraising, and fund formation. After leaving private practice, Hayden was a counsel at Cruise, an autonomous vehicle startup in San Francisco, where he worked closely with the board of directors and management on securities law, corporate governance, mergers, real estate, and equity compensation.

Having worked in-house and at law firms, Hayden takes a holistic approach to working with clients and candidates to understand their needs and to find an ideal fit. In his previous roles, Hayden actively participated in recruiting efforts and spoke on numerous diversity recruitment panels and workshops.

Hayden received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Norma Z. Paige Scholar, a Graduate Fellow for the Pollack Center for Law & Business at NYU Stern School of Business, and an editor on the NYU Journal of Law & Business. Hayden holds an M.A. in philosophy from Georgia State University and a B.A. in economics from Cornell University. Outside of work, Hayden enjoys spinning, baking sourdough bread, and hiking with his French Bulldog.
