Brian Bienenfeld is a Managing Director at RPN. Brian’s firsthand experience successfully navigating the recruitment process at top international, national, and boutique law firms allows him to guide his candidates through every step of their search. Brian understands the importance of finding the right fit for his candidates and clients. His deep relationships in the legal community and intimate knowledge of his clients’ practice and culture set Brian apart as a trusted advisor and counselor.

 

Prior to joining RPN, Brian was a general commercial litigator at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.  Brian shifted his practice to labor and employment law and spent time at several premier L&E firms, including Seyfarth Shaw LLP and Paduano & Weintraub LLP.  After serious reflection, Brian decided to focus his career on the aspects of being a lawyer he found most fulfilling: relationship building, career development, and coaching.  As a litigator, Brian cultivated strong, lasting relationships with his colleagues and clients.  He leverages these relationships and deep knowledge of the legal industry to ensure his candidates and clients find the right match.

 

Brian received his J.D., cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Cardozo Law Review.  While at Cardozo, Brian was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship Award.  As a former teacher, Brian also holds a master’s degree in secondary education. Prior to law school, Brian taught English and Earth Science in Hawaii as part of Teach for America.  He also holds a B.A. in Communications and U.S. History from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with family, skiing, and watching the New York Giants and Wisconsin Badgers.
