Adam Rafsky is a Senior Managing Director at RPN. Adam’s approach to recruiting is grounded in his passion for people and building meaningful and lasting relationships. He strives to counsel and guide his candidates through every step of their search while simultaneously adding value for his clients by intimately understanding their specific needs, practice, and culture.
Prior to joining RPN, Adam spent seven years as a commercial litigator at Farrell Fritz, P.C., where he was selected four times as one of Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Stars in business litigation. He also has experience in BigLaw, as a Litigation Legal Assistant at Davis Polk & Wardwell prior to going to law school. While practicing, Adam regularly counseled clients in developing coordinated strategies to achieve their litigation and business goals. As a member of his firm’s Associates Committee, he was selected to understand and represent the concerns of his fellow associates and to work with the firm’s management committee to shape and implement firm-wide policies. As a recruiter, he leverages his understanding of each of these perspectives – of a practicing attorney, of law firm management, and of corporate decision makers – to help his candidates and clients find their ideal match.
Adam earned his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law where he was a Notes & Comments Editor on the St. John’s Law Review and a merit scholarship recipient. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in Psychology from Colby College where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team and studied abroad at The University of Sydney. Outside of work, Adam enjoys traveling and spending time in the outdoors with his wife, exercising, and being a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees.
